Webcast – live from ABBA Arena

In the live webcast from ABBA Arena in London, we explain what we mean with our two tracks to a shipping revolution: Reducing a lot on a few and even more from a lot!

Take the opportunity to listen to the very interesting discussion about this year of emission regulations between Roel Hoenders (Head of Decarbonization and Clean Air, IMO), James Corbett (Environmental Director, Europe at World Shipping Council) and Håvard Tvedte (CEO at Maritime CleanTech).

“It’s really a great time for the industry to reconnect with the younger generation. These technologies like wind, renewable fuels and the future generation of engines, will trigger their interest and we need to make sure that these opportunities are actually grasped” said Roel Hoenders.

Upcoming test rig installation

Niclas Dahl (Managing Director, Oceanbird) and Roger Strevens (VP, Global Sustainability, Wallenius Wilhelmsen) also describes the upcoming test rig installation on the existing Wallenius Wilhelmsen vessel Tirranna, which is part of Orcelle Horizon.

This project has received funding from European Union’s Horizon Europe Framework program under grant no 101096673.

“Decarbonization is not a matter of life or death, it is much more important than that. I think that sets the scale of the task that is in front of us, as an industry and as a company” said Roger Strevens.
